Yes, broadband Wi-Fi is available on the property. Please remember you are visiting an island, 5-miles off the mainland. From time to time, outages outside of our control do occur for which we cannot be responsible for.
Cell service is spotty on the Island to say the least. Most major carriers including AT&T and Verizon have extremely poor reception, and US Cellular is spotty as well. CellCom is used by most locals.

While we enjoy our pets too and understand why you might want to include them in your vacation, for the health, safety, and enjoyment of our guests, we do not allow pets in the cabins, or on the property grounds. Please do not bring your pet and plan to leave them in your car. That is not fair to the pet, or other guests. We define “pet” as a dog, cat, bird, or exotic animal. 

No, the cabins are NOT equipped with televisions or DVD players. Our rationale behind this is we want you to be so tired from exploring all the wonderful places, shops and restaurants on our Island, that you come back to your cabin and fall asleep once your head hits the pillow. 

For those that may not bring a car, or are coming via bicycle, we can pick you up at the ferry dock. Please make sure to contact us ahead of time about the pickup, and also when you board the ferry, so we can meet you at the dock. 

Just like with the WiFi, yes the electric can go down. Again, please remember you are visiting an island, 5-miles off the mainland. From time to time the electric does go out, most often due to a storm, for which we cannot control. The Washington Island Electric Cooperative has a diligent crew that works hard to minimize any outages we may experience. 

Sheets, blankets, pillows, and bath towels are provided, as well as soap, shampoo, and conditioner. If you have your own special pillow or toiletries, we suggest you bring those for your stay. 

We will NOT be entering your cabin on a daily basis to change sheets, make the bed, clean, or exchange towels. Depending on your length of stay, your cabin will be stocked with the appropriate amount of towels. If staying five (5) or more days, we will coordinate a midweek sheet and towel exchange with you at check-in.  

Maximum occupancy in any cabin is two (2) persons. Each cabin has ONE queen size bed. Cabins do not have pull-out couches. We ask that you refrain from bringing inflatable beds, air mattresses, or sleeping bags to accommodate more than two persons. 

If you arrive with more than two people in your party, we will ask you to reserve another cabin (subject to availability).
